The biological equivalent of the Penrose Stairs
Tripping while Sleepwalking - #1
I have repeatedly discovered tubular structures embedded in a bodily orifice of mine. No matter how many times I remove them, they regrow, convincing me that they are not a bug but a feature of my design. These evolutionary origins lie in my experiences across the 25 years I have been working. I am going to try and narrate some of these experiences. It has taken me some time to formulate the chunks of my life into units of content that are independently readable in their themes. Harder still, weave these content units to explain said tubular structure and its journey/emergence to/from said orifice.
I am not sure why I am writing and publishing this. I got this thought watching Dopesick, where the protagonist’s primary form of therapy is to make notes of good times. I beg to differ; the most exciting parts of my life are the orifice-tube intersection points. Therefore these notes are to be seen as ramblings of a disjointed mind rather than prescriptive or didactic notes. If you take the stuff here too seriously, I’ve got this friend who runs a travel business, and you probably need to get out more often. And thus, to make this more lifelike for you, I suggest you could imagine a Morgan Freeman voice-over or video of David Attenborough speaking... Join me as I journey through the beautiful world we are in, the world where we work!
I will number my narratives, though they will be in no sequence. In other words, the numbers carry no meaning beyond being a reference tag. Like chapters in a book written by Quentin Tarantino. The assumption of time being a consistent arrow through these ramblings is an error you would best avoid.
